Hosted by Sancton Wood School, our programme is designed to inspire through combining academic studies with professional experiences; developing key knowledge and skills to benefit your future career prospects. Alongside a comprehensive academic curriculum, students will have the opportunity to explore Cambridge with their peers, visit university colleges, and take part in wide variety of social events.

Educational offering:
Six innovative courses are available: Faculty of Medicine | Faculty of Business | Faculty of Sciences and Technology | Faculty of Social Sciences
Students will take part in a series of immersive practicals, lectures, seminars and 2:1 tutorials designed to develop their academic knowledge and core study skills required for future success
Includes industry experience, the opportunity to engage with top industry professionals in a series of insightful and inspiring practical workshops connected with your chosen subject
50 hours of academic content in the chosen subject delivered by specialist tutors
Activities:
Students enjoy a varied and carefully selected social programme: sports (including swimming, football, arts and yoga) shopping tours, cultural visits and Cambridge sightseeing
Two full-day cultural excursions: students enjoy world-famous attractions, including London
A black-tie graduation ceremony to celebrate students’ achievements at the end of the course
Accommodation and welfare:
All students live in our purpose-built student accommodation close to the train station and Cambridge University Botanic Gardens. The rooms are modern, single, en-suite study rooms. Male and female students are accommodated in separate areas, with shared communal spaces. In the morning, students will take a short walk to our modern teaching facilities, part of Sancton Wood School (UK’s Top 10 Independent Schools, Sunday Times, 2022). The school’s recent £10 million campus investment gives students the space for a stimulating learning environment with specialist lab facilities for science as well as dedicated social spaces for art and drama. Our friendly and supportive staff team are available 24 hours per day to support students.
Travel and transfers
Summer Boarding Courses offers an Airport Transfer Service to the Cambridge College Summer School for any flights to and from Heathrow Airport. This will be in operation throughout the scheduled arrival and departure days and available for all flights between 09.00 and 17.00 at a cost of £130 per journey. For any queries about flights scheduled outside these times, please speak with your Admissions Manager before finalising transfers.
